Referral Incentive Guidelines

We are pleased to share we will increase bonuses for team members who refer family and friends for open positions from $750 to $1,500. As we embark on the next steps of our journey as an organization, we are investing in building an even stronger team. Identifying candidates who will be a great fit for our team and who are committed to growing with us will be extremely important during this period of rapid expansion and help provide the support our existing team members deserve. Because of this, we are also updating the way referral bonuses are paid. Going forward, team members who refer a successfully hired candidate will receive an initial payment of $750 when the new hire has been on the job for six months. They will then receive a second $750 payment when their referral reaches their one-year anniversary. Our Team Member Referral Program has always been one of our best recruitment tools, helping us to hire more talented, hardworking individuals like all of you. In fact, last year, team members made more than 630 referrals to collectively earn $345,000 in referral bonuses. As we prepare for the first stages of our evolution  and the expansion of offerings at our existing venues, we are doubling down on this investment to ensure our team is prepared for the growth ahead. Team Member Eligibility

All active, full-time, part-time, on call, and temporary team members of Turning Stone Enterprises are eligible to receive an incentive. Manager-level team members are only eligible if the new hire is hired in a department or function outside of the referring manager’s area of responsibility. Talent Acquisition and Directors and above are not eligible.


Making a Referral

For Current team members:

  • Fill out the team member Referral Form.
  • Encourage referred applicants join us at the Hiring Expo on Tuesday, August 22! They can register to attend the event. Ask referred applicants to mention you as the referring team member during their initial interview.

For Applicants:

  • Check out opportunities at turningstoneenterprises.com/careers. then click “See All Opportunities” to apply for up to three different positions.
  • In the application, within the “Questions” field, the referred applicant must select “Team Member Referral,” select “Yes” under “Were you referred by a current team member?” And then enter your name in the drop-down field as the person who referred them.
  • Mention you as the referring team member during their initial interview.

Qualification Requirements

  • Talent Acquisition will review all referral applications and will contact applicants directly. Some referrals will be moved to the interview stage by the Recruiter, and some may not.
  • The incentive may be earned on full-time, part-time, on-call and temporary hires.
  • New hires who complete New team member Orientation and report for their first scheduled work shift will be considered to have started employment on their “start date” which is required for eligibility.
  • Referral incentives will not be paid for applicants already in our database or for current team members who apply.
  • Referral incentives may be earned on former team members if they have had a break in service of more than five years.
  • Both the new hire and referring team member must be active team members on the date of pay out for each installment.
  • Referral incentives are subject to applicable tax withholdings.
  • Talent Acquisition will determine the validity of any referral and eligibility for payment and reserves the right to amend or terminate the program at any time for any reason. The program will be regularly reviewed and updated.

Payout Installments

Payout installments will be made to the referring team member within one pay period following the below milestones of the new hire’s active employment:
