ProAct, is Turning Stone Enterprises prescription drug provider for team members who have elected the Choice & Care medical plans. Your Excellus ID card includes both medical and prescription information. If you have not received your Excellus ID card yet, please visit excellusbcbs.com/mygroup/turningstonellc to print a temporary card.

Is a Drug “Single-Source” or “Multi-Source”?

If both a generic and brand name prescription are available, this is a multi-source drug.
If no generic is available, this is a single-source drug.

To find out if a drug is single-source or multi-source, ask your pharmacist or contact ProAct at 800-797-9791 or www.ProActRx.com. Keep in mind that your prescription may move from “single-source” to “multi-source” during the year if the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves a generic equivalent drug.

Specialty medications must be ordered through Noble Health Services, an ProAct Specialty Pharmacy. Noble Health Services will mail your prescription to you at the address of your choice. For your privacy, the package is delivered in a non-labeled box. Call 888-843-2040 to speak to a patient care representative.

Using Your Prescription Drug Benefit

ProAct administers the Prescription Drug benefits plan for the Choice & Care plans. After you enroll in medical benefits, you will receive a Medical ID card which will include your medical and prescription drug plan information.

Retail
You will need to present your ID card at the pharmacy when you fill a prescription. You can have up to a 30-day supply of your prescription filled at a retail pharmacy. However, after filling a maintenance drug at a Retail pharmacy after the 2^nd fill, you will incur a penalty fee of $25.00 per Rx which will be added to your copay.

Mail-Order
Mail-order copays are for up to a 90-day supply. If you take medication on a regular basis for conditions such as high blood pressure or asthma, the mail-order option will be less expensive than the retail option. To use mail-order, go to www.ProActRx.com or call 800-797-9791.

After you have enrolled in the ProAct mail-order program, you can refill prescriptions easily, either online or over the phone. If you are taking a specialty medication, contact Noble Health Services at 888-843-2040. If you use a pharmacy other than Noble Health Services, you will be subject to the full cost of the medication instead of mail-order copays.
